高雄市立歷史博物館 Kaohsiung Museum of History

高雄市立歷史博物館原為日治時期高雄市役所，戰後改為高雄市政府，乃是二二八事件在高雄的重要歷史現場之一。於本館二樓設有二二八0306常設展，為國內首見二二八事件於舊高市府的武力鎮壓事件之模型場景，搭配相關文物展示，讓這段歷史成為重要教材。

Kaohsiung Museum of History was the former City Hall in Japanese era and the Kaohsiung City government until 1992. Being one of the major sites of February 28 Incident occurred, the Permanent Exhibition “February 28‧0306” displays with the Taiwan’s first models for delineating the armed suppression in Kaohsiung, along with relevant artifacts. It is hoped that visitors will be enable to understand and ponder over its uniqueness, controversies, and historical significance.
