二二八和平紀念公園、二二八和平紀念碑 228 Peace Memorial Park,228 Peace Monument

位於愛河旁並鄰近二二八事件地點，提醒世人對歷史悲劇選擇原諒但不容忽視，後人必需尊重生命與和平的可貴。於二二八和平公園內，以現代化地景式設建建立新紀念碑，具體刻載事件的始末，168名可考的受難者姓名紀念牆以青翠矮樹襯托，引導人們進入紀念活動廣場，整體高雅莊嚴、深具人文及歷史意涵。

Located next to the Love River and close to the 228 incident, it reminds the world to choose forgiveness for historical tragedies but not to be ignored, and future generations must respect the value of life and peace. In the 228 Peace Park, a new monument was built in a modern landscape style. The beginning and end of the event are specifically engraved. The memorial wall of 168 identitable victims is set  off by the green and short trees to guide people into the memorial square. The whole environment is elegant and solemn, and full of  cultural and historical implications.
